History

The 'Timeline' transcribes information from the plaques. Then by filtering or sorting it is possible to collate information regarding a particular topic from a number of plaques.  Alternatively it is possible to get a chronological history, by sorting on the date.

This page contains mainly links to Wikipedia articles on various plaques or related subjects.  It also has links o standalone articles on plaques subjects.

This page contains mainly photographs of the unveiling of the later plaques.

News articles will be added where permissions can be obtained.
